Get an idea of the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven data protection specialist to join our privacy team. The focus of the role is to support the business in all matters related to data protection and privacy, with a specific focus on developing records of processing activities. You will report to the company’s Data Protection Officer and be part of a team consisting of the DPO and two Data Protection Specialists. You will work cross-functional in an advisory and coaching function towards the business in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. There will be a close cooperation with other departments such as Legal, Governance, Information Security and IT. The role is positioned in Helsingborg with the possibility to work from other locations, for example our Malmö office.

Your areas of responsibilities include:
- Overall management of records of processing activities and to conduct regular audits of such records.
- Provide guidance on privacy considerations for new projects, products and services, including data lifecycle management.
- Support the business with relevant impact assessments (DPIA, TIA, LIA).
- Draft and communicate internal and external documents, such as privacy policies, internal guidance and develop templates for impact assessments and agreements.
- Execute internal and external audits, to ensure compliance with regulations regarding personal data protection.
- Create training material and hold awareness sessions.
- Manage incident response, including file reports to authorities.
- Follow up on risks associated with data protection.
- Stay updated on regulations and case law with relevance for data protection.

Requirements:
- Master’s degree in law, information management or other relevant academic education.
- English and Swedish skills at a business proficient level.
- Minimum of three years of experience in European data protection law (GDPR).
- Deep understanding of data protection principles, best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience from developing and implementing records of processing activities.
- Experience from the finance sector is highly valued.
