About Pay & Apply

The Pay & Apply team manages payment and application processes both in-store and online, utilizing integrated API solutions, a standalone web-based Merchant Portal, and self-service applications. Customers can initiate credit applications through links, QR codes, or SMS.
We also oversee the payment engine responsible for orchestrating the application process, determining when applications and payments are needed, and managing steps like signing, authentication, and risk assessment.
This engine facilitates the entire flow from initiation to account creation and authorization.

Meet a team member

  • As a Technical Coach within the Pay & Apply team I primarily focus on the backend orchestration of payments and applications while offering technical support to developers and product owners within our product area. For backend development, we utilize technologies including Java 21, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Docker, Cucumber, Mockito, among others.
