At Resurs, we’re on a mission to build a secure and resilient foundation for the future of fintech. As our IT Security Officer, you’ll take on a pivotal role in protecting our business, customers, and data while raising awareness about information security across the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead strategic and tactical efforts within information security, focusing on long-term planning while also being ready to get hands-on. A key part of your role will be to develop, maintain, and own the Information Assurance Program, which includes taking platform ownership of our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) platform, ensuring its transformation into a modern and effective tool that meets the demands of a constantly evolving threat landscape.

You’ll report to Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and collaborate closely with our IT Security Officers, as well as team members working with threat management, vulnerability scanning, incident response, and DevSecOps practices. In addition to these responsibilities, you will support the organization with security-related matters within Asset Management, Change Management, and Configuration Management, Data Classification, Risk Management, ensuring robust security practices are maintained.

You will also be responsible for continuity within IT and setting requirements for and testing Disaster Recovery Plans. Over time, it may also become relevant to participate in an on-call or standby rotation to support critical incident handling, ensuring we are prepared to respond to security events around the clock.

Beyond the technical aspects, you’ll also play an important role in raising awareness around information security, ensuring that all employees understand its significance and know how to protect our information assets. By partnering with both technical and business teams, you’ll help foster a culture where security becomes second nature, no matter the role.

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience working in information security, and knowledge of frameworks like GDPR, ISO 27001, or similar.
• Solid understanding of IT security technologies, with experience working across both cloud and on-prem environments.
• While not a requirement, knowledge in the area of artificial intelligence is considered a valuable asset.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical security measures and business needs.
• A proactive, curious mindset with a genuine interest in raising awareness and driving continuous improvement.
• Experience from financial sector is meritorious and certifications as CISSP, CISM, CRISC.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• Holds Swedish citizenship.
